Source code for community level cooling demand estimator in OpenModelica

Download (3.64 MB)

This source code contains a dynamic energy model of a residential community developed in the OpenModelica software. The model enables computing transient heat transfer through the envelope for each house in the community under diverse weather conditions. This in turn facilitates quantifying the cooling demand of individual houses and the entire community under warm ambient conditions.

The detailed instructions for setting up and executing the simulations in the model are provided in the "User manual" file within the folder of the source code. The compressed file (*.ZIP) of the source code needs to be unzipped to obtain this folder.
