PiFM and XPS studies of Porous TiO2 films for the photocatalytic decomposition of polystyrene - data.

Download (3.92 MB)

The data describes a series of experiments exploring the photocatalytic activity of a set of spin coated porous TiO2 films doped with 1 wt% copper for the photodecomposition of polystyrene films.

Files saved as an Origin dataset:

  1. Data table of a set of ATR infrared spectroscopy of the C-H bond of the PS after increasing exposures to UV light. Stored as intensity against wavenumber.
  2. The measured area of the C-H bonds are plotted against time in the next set of data for different films deposited at different spin speeds.
  3. The data are separated into three columns for each experiment: (1) Aliphatic hydrogen bond; (2) Aromatic hydrogen bond; (3) Total C-H bond area.

XPS data on the films before and after reaction is saved in standard photoelectron spectroscopy format according to the ISO 14976 "VAMAS" standard.

Three dimensional Photoinduced force microscopy data are stored as images and the point spectra as opju files of intensity against wavenumber.

Reserach results based upon these dat aare published at http://doi.org/10.3390/catal13040725
